Filling The Application

After you complete our Application form with details about your company and plant, a dedicated Rabbinic Coordinator (RC) will be assigned to manage your application. This RC will serve as your primary point of contact at the KI, answering your questions, addressing your needs, and guiding you through the Kosher certification process.

Facility Visit

A qualified Rabbinic Field Representative will visit your plant to assess the feasibility of certifying your products. Prior to the inspection, you will be billed a processing fee and a travel expense fee. During the visit, the RFR will tour your facility and submit a written report to KI headquarters.

Assessment

Your Rabbinic Coordinator will review your application and inspection report, and then advise you whether the KI can grant certification. In some cases, system modifications may be required before certification can be awarded.

Contract

The RC will draft a contract outlining all KI requirements and fees for kosher certification. Once you have reviewed and approved the contract, you will sign and return it to the KI office. The KI will then issue a letter of certification to you.

Kosher Lebel Approval

Once you have added the KI symbol to your new product labels, please submit them to us for final approval.
